Brain Evolution System

What is the Brain Evolution System?

It is a 6 track brainwave entrainment program, where each track is designed to take you into progressively deeper meditative state, and give your brain a progressively more challenging workout. The sessions are 30 minutes long, with the idea is that you listen to each track daily for a month, by which time you are ready to step up to the next level.

What is it good for?

You get all the benefits of regular meditation (lower blood pressure, reduced stress, more energy) as well as a host of improvement in cognitive abilities from the workout (improved focus and concentration, quicker sharper thinking, improved creativity and problem solving).

Does it actually work?

Absolutely. There is a huge body of high quality research studies which show the benefits of regular brainwave entrainment sessions. I will cover these in a future post, but in the mean time see the research section of the BrainwaveProject.com for details on some of the best studies. The Brain Evolution System uses multiple simultaneous entrainment methods to increase their effectiveness so is one of the highest quality programs you can find. But don't take my word for it, check out their public forum and see what thousands of people are saying for yourself.

What does it cost and where can I get it?

The whole program is $299. Before you need to pay anything you can download a free demo to see for yourself, and the program comes with a full one month free trial.

Guide to Brainwave Entrainment

Brainwave Entrainment refers to the process of directing human brainwave towards a desired frequency. We are able to do thinks thanks to a natural faculty of the brain called the 'Frequency Following Response'. This is the tendency for the frequnecy of the brain to match a dominant frequnecy that is presented to it.

So for example, if you were to stare at repetitive flashing light like a strobe light, your brianwave would begin to synchronise with the frequnecy of the pulses of light.

It is possible to entrian the brain to a certain frequency by visual stimulation as in the example above, or by audio stimulation in which a tone at the desired frequency is used.

Brainwave Entrianment is a powerful tool due to the fact that each specific brainwave frequnecy has associated with it a characteristic metnal state. So by entraining to certain frequnecies you can also entrain to certain states of mind. This has significant applicaiotns for people who have difficulty sleeping, being able to realx, maintaining focus, and staying alert.

Since there also mental states associated with accelerated learning, and peak performance of physical activities, brianwave entrianment can be useful in achieving these states.

The Brainwave Generator

The first Brainwave System I've decide to take a look at is the BrainWave Generator. This is one of the programs that has been around the longest, and is a good place to start because it's a free piece of software.

The BrainWave Geneartor also known as BWGEN, uses binaural beats to change your brain frequency towards the desired state, be it relaxation or enhanced attention. In addition to using the more than 20 built-in brain wave entrainment programs, you can create your own programs (presets).

The BrainWave generator also has a visual strobe effect that combines with and matches the binaural beat frequency.

The two biggest advantages of this software is firstly the cost; it's free! And secondly it's high degree of customization; you can use itcreate virtually any brianwave entrainment frequnecy.

Overall for a free product, the Brainwave generator is really good, and has lots of functionality. However it can be quite fiddly and difficult to pick up if you haven’t already had some experience with brainwave entrainment.Plus with no customer support if you get stuck or have any problems you’re on your own.

To check it out for yourself. just go to: www.bwgen.com

The Big Idea with Brainwave Systems

Hi Everyone,

The idea for this blog was really to take a look at a few Brainwave Systems, also called Brainwave Entrainment Systems. In the grand scheme of things the technology is still pretty new, but it seems to be evolving fairly quickly and new products are being released all the time.

I've used a few of these systems and played aorund with creating my own Brainwave Entrainment tracks, so I thought I could share my thoughts and experiences using them.

Hopefully over time this blog will build up into a kind of record of how the technology was progressing, and which systems, or entrainment methods are leading the way.

So check back soon...
